Our Legacy of Excellence: A Journey Through Time Since 1971
Embarking on a journey that spans over five decades, our legacy as Suja Shoei Industries Private Limited is one of resilience, evolution, and innovation.
Established in 1971 as Suja Rubber Products, we laid the foundation of our commitment to precision and excellence. The turning point arrived in 1990 when our identity transformed into Suja Rubber Industries, marking a step towards growth and expansion.
In 1996, we achieved a significant milestone with the establishment of Plant 2 in Pondicherry, accompanied by the installation of advanced Vacuum Compression and Auto Injection Moulding Machines. As our expertise and reach expanded, a pivotal moment emerged in 1999 with a technical collaboration that found us partnering with the esteemed Shoei Corporation Japan.
The years 2004 and 2008 were transformative, as we continuously improved our processes. Mixing was reimagined with Mistake Proofing Controls, setting higher standards for quality. The culmination of our growth led us to a landmark Joint Venture with Shoei Corporation in 2008, propelling us into a new era. This momentous occasion marked the renaming of our enterprise to Suja Shoei Industries Private Limited.
Amidst capacity expansions and inaugurations, we embraced growth. In 2008, our manufacturing capabilities were fortified with additional Vacuum Compression and Auto Injection Moulding Stations. A new chapter unfolded in 2008 with the inauguration of Plant 3, furthering our operational prowess. The saga continued in 2012 with Plant 4, adding to our manufacturing capabilities.
The years 2014 to 2016 witnessed an array of advancements. Cryogenic Deburring, Auto Optical Sorter installations, and the addition of Vacuum Compression and Auto Injection Moulding Stations underscored our relentless pursuit of excellence. Plant 6’s inauguration in this period was a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation and progress.
The years 2018 to 2022 catapulted us further towards our vision. Our cumulative manufacturing area expanded to an impressive 200,000 square feet. We established state-of-the-art Parkerising and Adhesive Coating lines, embracing advanced processes. With a keen focus on optimization, we embraced Low Cost Automation to elevate our manufacturing processes. Looking ahead, we set our sights on becoming a World-Class Manufacturing facility by 2025, fortified by continuous advancements and innovation. Initiatives in Advanced Engineering were unveiled, heralding a new era of exploration in our recently structured Tech Centre.
